MAINE PUBLIC’S AUDIENCE relies on and enjoys our content on radio, on television, and through digital services on any device anywhere they choose.
With the unveiling of our new headquarters, we will see a long-standing dream come to fruition: a dynamic and inviting place for public events that will enhance our ability to foster public discourse. The building will become yet another platform on which audiences engage with Maine Public.
Imagine a flexible community space in the heart of Downtown Portland that holds musical performances, a premiere screening of a Maine Public Community Film, an open-to-the-public episode of Maine Calling, or a lecture series centered around a Deep Dive Investigative Series from Maine Public’s news team. This space will play a prominent role at the intersection between the content that Maine Public produces and our audience.
The performance venues and meeting spaces in our new home will create opportunities for collaboration with cultural institutions, nonprofit organizations, and community groups.
We expect this new community hub will become a desirable destination for audiences from across the state while creating a tangible sense of place and pride for everyone who loves Maine Public.
